March came and went in the blink of an eye.
But I'd say it was a great month!
Nadsie came to Logan and hung out with me for A WHOLE WEEK!
Talk about best thing ever.
What better way to celebrate than to buy donuts!
We're kinda donut-holics.
One of the best things about her coming to Logan was that when it was time to drive back to Provo I got to drive in the carpool lane!
Wooooo!! Beat that Traffic!
And once we got home guess what started??
SPRING BREAK!!
I was just planning on hanging with friends and family for a whole week, but then my dad told me that we should go on a trip somewhere.
And my daddy works for Delta, so that means I getta fly for free!
Well... until I turned 23.
Which was the week after Spring Break....
So guess what that meant?! Better hop on a plane pronto!
And who better to travel with me all around the world than my dad!
We decided that for my last freeness we'd go where I've always wanted to go.
PARIS!
We planned to fly to Seattle first and then to Paris.
I've always had some weird goal to start a gum wall.
For some reason I think it's so cool, even though really it's GAG ME MAJOR!
I HATE GERMS.
And since we were going through Seattle first how could I not stop by and see that crazy gum wall!
It was a super quick trip in Seattle, I mean we only had a few hours.
Don't worry though, we obvs stopped for clam chowder. :)
I really wanted Nad to come to Paris with us, so after begging her to come with she decided to come!
But since she has a bad back it was probably best she not come to Seattle with us.
So she took the direct flight from Salt Lake to Paris and met us there!
Her flight arrived in Paris an hour before so she just waited for us.
Here is a lovely pic right after we got off our 9 hour plane ride to Paris.
Yes, we stunk. Ew.
We took the train/subway/metro thing to our hotel and got off at the stop the "Info desk lady" told us to get off at. Um yeah, she totes told us to get off one stop too early!
If she woulda told us to get off at the stop right after we would have walked off the train and WALA! Hotel.
I think we walked for like an HOUR trying to find our hotel. And since there are no mountains in Paris we could look at to figure out North, South, West, East junk the map was no help either.
Here I am complaining while I was in PARIS!
Sorry, I take back all my anger towards that info desk lady.
Our hotel was right around the corner of the Eiffel Tower!
Here's some pics of our trip to Paris. :)
And on the plane ride home, I sat by the cutest old lady ever!!
Her daughter didn't make it on the flight so she was flying alone and was worried she wouldn't have a ride home! After talking to her pretty much the whole flight, I found out that she lives in Provo!
I promised her I'd make sure she got home safe :)
So once we landed I made sure she got a wheel chair while Nadsie called her son.
The whole time she kept telling me I was her angel.
And she kept telling me she was a Mormon. Ha ha ha. Good lady trying to spread the gospel any second she can!!
After meeting her family, she told me I better stop by her house sometime because she insisted on meeting my parents so she could thank them. Ha ha.
Loved her. :)
It was a way fun trip and I'm super glad I got to go before my birthday!!!
Spring Break ended March 16.
TWO DAYS BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY!!
Why the heck would I want to be in Logan for my birthday and spend the whole night alone?!
So why not just stay in good 'ol Provo until AFTER my birthday?!
I was only gonna miss two days of class. That's no biggie right?
Ha ha. Well good idea or not, I stayed. :)
Best idea ever.
I got to spend the day with my best friends and my family.
The Pretty Little Liars season finale was on the night of my birthday, so it became the theme for my 23rd birthday party! Ha ha, I'm sooooo mature for my age. :)
We made a PLL cake and painted "A" nails!
I was super spoiled and I'm so glad I got to be with my favorites on my birthday :)
When I got back to Logan on Wednesday Josh bought me a donut and candles and sung Happy Birthday to me in Chinese. After he took me to Costa Vida for dinner.
Man if I knew he was gonna be so nice to me, I woulda stayed in Logan for my Birthday! Ha ha ha.
March was such a great month, and I look forward to April :)
P.S. Sorry for my crappy iPhone pictures!
